GTFO is a cooperative first-person shooter where teams of up to four prisoners explore a decaying research facility called The Complex. Players must work together, scavenging resources and utilizing strategy to survive encounters with dangerous creatures known as Sleepers. Before each expedition, teams select gear, weapons, and boosters to equip themselves for the challenges ahead. Stealth and coordination are crucial for navigating The Complex, as noise and light can awaken the slumbering Sleepers. When confronted, players must engage in intense combat using a variety of weapons and tactics to overcome the relentless creatures. Successfully completing expeditions earns players cosmetic rewards that signify their resilience against the horrors of The Complex.
