Demented" is a survival horror game where you play as Bennet Helms, who wakes up in an unfamiliar place with his family. You must uncover the truth behind the Visual Corporation while managing your sanity and health. Your sanity affects gameplay elements like hallucinations, spawns of hostile creatures, and vision. Low health can lead to self-harm, which temporarily boosts sanity but damages your character. The game world is influenced by a system called WCD, which alters environments, perception, and spawns enemies based on your health and sanity. Radiation also plays a significant role, offering benefits like slowing sanity decay but also inflicting health damage. Future updates will expand on these mechanics with new effects, AI improvements, physics interaction, and more.
