ARK: Survival of the Fittest is a fast-paced battle royale game where up to 60 players compete in epic dinosaur army confrontations. Players form tribes, gather resources, tame dinosaurs, and strategically command their armies to be the last tribe standing. The game features 88 dinosaurs, a simplified version of ARK: Survival Evolved's island map, and solo and tribe-based game modes. Key features include a streamlined experience with simplified crafting and inventory management, a looting-focused design, rebalanced weapons and armor for fast-paced combat, a new taming system using tokens, and a unique Commander Mode that allows players to control their dinosaur armies from a bird's-eye view even after death. The game also includes dynamic ring of death mechanics, an intelligent pinging system for team communication, customizable war banners, the ability to summon bosses, and a custom soundtrack.
