DayZ is a survival game set in the post-Soviet country of Chernarus, ravaged by a virus that turned most of the population into infected creatures. Players must scavenge for resources, build shelters, craft items, and manage their hunger, thirst, and health to survive. The open world allows for interactions with up to 60 other players, who can choose to cooperate or compete for survival. DayZ features intense PvP combat, dangerous wildlife, and challenging environmental hazards. Players can customize their experience through mods available on the Steam Workshop, adding new content and gameplay options.
