Orcs Must Die! 3 is a tower defense game where players combat hordes of orcs using traps and weapons. The game offers both solo and two-player co-op modes. Players can build and upgrade traps, wield powerful weapons, and utilize new War Machines to defeat massive orc armies in "War Scenarios". A new story takes place over 20 years after the previous installment, featuring returning characters and new apprentices. Endless Mode and Weekly Challenges provide ongoing gameplay after completing the main story. The game includes free content like the "Drastic Steps" campaign, which introduces flying enemies, war guardians, and new ways to eliminate orcs. A new "Scramble Mode" challenges players with evolving orc tactics, allowing players to acquire modifiers as they progress.
