Stronghold: Warlords is a real-time strategy game that takes players to East Asia where they will command Mongol hordes, imperial warriors, and samurai clansmen. Players can besiege Japanese castles and fortified Chinese cities using new gunpowder-fueled siege weapons across 31 campaign missions, 45 skirmish trail scenarios, and 28 multiplayer maps. A unique feature of Stronghold: Warlords is the ability to recruit, upgrade, and command AI lords called Warlords who offer unique perks and abilities to enhance your strategic gameplay. Players can relive historical campaigns spanning from ancient China to the rise of the Mongol Empire, master skirmish trails with unique missions, and recruit new units like fire lancers, samurai, horse archers, and ninjas. Stronghold: Warlords features powerful new siege weapons such as the hwacha arrow launcher and fire oxen. Players can also become the greatest lord through various medieval entertainment, taxation, and torture methods. Multiplayer battles allow for up to 4 human players and 4+ AI players across 28 maps.
