Maelstrom is a free-to-play online multiplayer game set in a vibrant fantasy world. Players captain warships as Orcs, Dwarves, or Humans, engaging in thunderous naval combat on the Abyssal Ocean. The objective is to sink enemy ships, claim their loot, and survive increasingly aggressive sea monsters. Maelstrom features physics-based cannon battles requiring skill and strategy. Ships can be upgraded with cannons, armor, crew members, and more. Players can also engage in ramming, grappling, and boarding actions for close-quarters combat. The game offers a variety of unique ships, each with distinct strengths and weaknesses, to unlock and master.
