Pathway is a turn-based strategy game set in 1936. Players assemble a team of adventurers to explore bunkers and temples in North Africa, uncovering hidden treasures before Nazi forces can seize them. The game features randomized maps with branching storylines, presenting players with tough choices that impact their mission objectives. Combat is strategic, requiring players to utilize cover, positioning, and unique character abilities. With 16 unlockable characters, each possessing distinct skills, players can customize their team and experiment with different strategies. Pathway offers five campaigns of varying difficulty, ensuring replayability with new events generated each playthrough. The game's visuals are a blend of classic 16-bit pixel art enhanced with modern lighting and shadows, accompanied by a soundtrack from critically acclaimed composer Gavin Harrison.
