Slime Rancher is a charming first-person adventure game where players take on the role of Beatrix LeBeau, a young rancher who inherits a dilapidated ranch on the distant planet of Far, Far Range. Players must restore the ranch to its former glory by collecting colorful slimes, growing crops, and harvesting resources using their trusty vacpack. The goal is to become a successful slime rancher by selling plorts, the slime's waste product, on the Plort Market. Players can complete daily requests from other ranchers for bonus rewards and use Slime Science to discover rare resources, craft decorations, and build gadgets to aid their exploration. The game features three different modes: Adventure, Casual, and Rush, and allows players to combine slimes to create over 150 unique hybrids.
