Stronghold Crusader HD is a historical strategy game set in the Middle Ages during the Crusades. Players can choose to lead either the Crusaders or Saladin's forces in four historical campaigns and over 100 unique skirmish missions. The game features new high-resolution graphics, allowing for a more detailed view of the battlefield. Players can build and manage their own fortresses, complete with siege engines and defenses, and command a variety of units with unique abilities, such as assassins and horse archers. Stronghold Crusader HD includes both the original Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold Crusader Extreme, which features increased unit caps, tactical powers, and new buildings.
