Unfortunate Spacemen is a multiplayer space-themed game where players must work together to escape a failing outpost. However, not everyone on the team can be trusted as some are secretly working with a monstrous creature from outer space. Players take on roles as Spacemen, who complete objectives to call for rescue, or the Monster, which hunts down and devours the Spacemen. Traitors can also join the Monster's side, helping it achieve victory. The game features multiple modes including a story mode where players fight off an insect swarm, a survival mode where players face increasingly difficult waves of enemies, and a main multiplayer mode with up to 16 players. Proximity chat adds a layer of realism and suspense as communication fades with distance. Players can also customize their appearance and playstyle through ranking up in The Company.
