Data Hacker: Corruption is a retro-inspired JRPG set in a virtual realm and simulated online game that explores the value and definition of life. Players can import their save data from the prequel, "Initiation," or start a new game. The story follows two distinct storylines featuring partial voice acting as the SiliCAI army defends itself against Virulea and Hunter attacks while seeking ultimate power. Players must choose a side: defend the SilicAI and their digital world or fight for the real world. Features include over 70 recruitable team members, 1000 craftable items, a new game+ mode with extra content, two racing minigames, an expansive world map, and a trading card game called Trioarch.
