Mortal Online is a first-person, medieval fantasy MMORPG set in a vast open world. Players choose from various races and professions, focusing on combat, crafting, magic, or trading. The game features realistic combat with skill-based mechanics and "full loot" consequences, where death results in the loss of carried items. Mortal Online distinguishes itself with no character levels, only skill levels, a single shared world without PvP zones, and no separate server regions. Players can build houses, create guilds, establish cities, and engage in sieges to control territory. The game offers unlimited free trial access with a skill cap at level 60. A paid subscription unlocks maximum skill levels. Mortal Online boasts over 500 skills, including taming, lock-picking, crafting systems, magic, mounted combat, and social interactions like bribing and persuasion.
