Void Bastards is a first-person strategy game where players lead a group of misfit prisoners through a dangerous nebula. The player must make strategic decisions about navigating derelict spaceships, managing resources, and engaging with hostile enemies. Players will explore ships, plan their routes, gather supplies, and utilize ship systems to their advantage. Combat is challenging and requires careful planning, as players can choose to fight, run, or use cunning tactics. Void Bastards features a unique crafting system allowing players to create improvised weapons and tools from scavenged materials. The game offers a 12-15 hour campaign with a constantly rotating cast of prisoners, each with their own skills and traits. Crafting progress carries over between prisoner deaths, ensuring continuous development throughout the playthrough.
