Mars Horizon is a space exploration simulation game where players lead their own space agency through the history of space travel. Players build launch pads, research labs, and astronaut training facilities while designing custom spacecraft from hundreds of combinations. The game features turn-based missions where players manage resources and solve challenges to earn scientific advancement and public support. Players can recreate famous missions like those of the Perseverance Rover or Rosetta space probe, explore a tech tree, and compete or collaborate with other agencies. The game offers five unique agencies, each with distinct traits, vehicles, and spacecraft. A Sandbox Mode allows for limitless customization. Players make critical decisions about technology, risk, and diplomacy, ultimately aiming to be the first to land astronauts on Mars. The game features input and support from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the UK Space Agency, ensuring authenticity and realism.
