Moonlighter is an action RPG with rogue-lite elements that follows Will, a shopkeeper who dreams of becoming a hero. During the day, players manage their shop in the village of Rynoka, buying and selling items, setting prices, managing gold reserves, and upgrading their store. At night, players venture into dangerous dungeons through mystical gates, battling enemies and bosses using a variety of weapons, armor, rings, and amulets. Moonlighter features 100 new room patterns, nine companions to help on adventures, and a deep combat system that rewards skill and strategy. Players can craft and enchant equipment, explore strange worlds, collect valuable loot, and restore prosperity to the village by helping establish new businesses. The game includes New Game+ mode with added challenges and options after completing the main story.
