Half-Life: Alyx is a virtual reality game that continues the Half-Life story between the events of the first and second games. Players take on the role of Alyx Vance, a resistance fighter working to liberate Earth from the alien Combine forces. Along with her father, Dr. Eli Vance, Alyx conducts scientific research and builds tools to aid the human resistance. The game features immersive gameplay mechanics designed specifically for virtual reality, allowing players to interact with the environment, solve puzzles, explore the world, and engage in combat in a realistic way. Half-Life: Alyx also includes tools for players to create their own levels and share them with the community through the Steam Workshop.
