Meadow" is an expansive multiplayer sandbox game set in a vibrant, lush environment. Players can choose from various land, water, and air animals to explore this largest-ever Shelter game world. Communication with other players is facilitated through emotes, symbols, and sounds. Players can utilize their senses to track others and customize their experience by selecting from nine different animal types, over 60 skins, and 90 expressions and symbols at the den. Owning previous "Shelter" games unlocks additional animals to play as, including the bear cub from "Paws." Soundtrack and book ownership grants unique sound abilities and 3-dimensional emotes respectively. Completing the "Shelter" collection unlocks the ability to play as a bird. The game features original music by Retro Family and promises ongoing updates with new content.
