Idling to Rule the Gods" is a free-to-play idle game set in the year 9001, after humans have destroyed all habitable planets in their universe. Escaping to a new dimension, players find themselves on a planet ruled by gods. After surviving an encounter with the first god, Hyperion, the player develops the ability to create shadow clones that fight monsters and grant them power. Players progress by creating clones, training them, absorbing their power, and defeating increasingly powerful gods. The game offers various ways to increase strength, including rebirth, monument creation, pet training, and battling ultimate beings. Even while offline, players gain strength, making "Idling to Rule the Gods" a game where progression is continuous, even during inactivity.
