Jalopy is a driving simulation game where you take control of the Laika 601 Deluxe, a quirky car inspired by East German vehicles. You'll journey through a procedurally generated world, facing diverse weather conditions and challenging terrain. The game emphasizes vehicle maintenance and upgrading. Players must carefully monitor their car's tires, engine, and cargo space, making repairs and installing upgrades to ensure its performance. Jalopy offers two economic paths: scavenging for scraps or engaging in risky contraband smuggling. Developed by Greg Pryjmachuk, who previously worked on the Formula 1 franchise, Jalopy delivers a unique and engaging driving experience with a focus on realism and resource management.
