Endless Sky is a free, open-source space trading and combat game inspired by classic titles. Players begin with a humble shuttle, cargo ship, or fighter and progress to powerful customized flagship vessels or massive fleets. The game offers diverse gameplay options: earn money through passenger and cargo transport, convoy escort, bounty hunting, or engaging in piracy. An engaging storyline takes 8-16 hours to complete, while a vast galaxy with hundreds of star systems, planets, and unique alien species beckons exploration. Players can choose from over fifty ships and numerous upgrades, and a plugin system empowers users to create new content such as ships, weapons, missions, star systems, and planets. Endless Sky is cross-platform, available on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with its universe constantly expanding through community contributions of new content, sound effects, and artwork.
