Star Chronicles: Delta Quadrant is a sci-fi turn-based strategy game with roguelike elements. Players pilot a spaceship searching for a new homeworld, but are lured into enemy territory by the Dark Order. To survive, players must fight enemies, gain experience, level up, and acquire improved weapons and equipment. Death is part of the learning process, allowing players to become stronger and attempt escape again. As players progress, their ship becomes stronger with improved hull strength, shield capacity, and engine power. Skill points can be used to customize the ship's playstyle: defensive, aggressive, or adaptive. Defensive builds prioritize shields, while aggressive builds focus on powerful weapons. Adaptive builds emphasize energy transfer for flexibility in different situations.
