Axiom Verge is an action-adventure game where players take on the role of a scientist who awakens in a strange, alien world following a lab accident. The player must explore this vast and complex world to uncover its mysteries and their own purpose within it. Players will encounter a variety of bizarre enemies, including biomechanoid constructs, remnants of an ancient war, and manifestations of their own mind. Along the way, they'll discover numerous weapons, items, and abilities, each with unique properties and uses. Axiom Verge challenges players to think creatively, utilizing glitches in the game itself to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.
