Mighty No. 9 is a classic 2D side-scrolling action game featuring modern technology and mechanics. Players control Beck, the ninth in a line of powerful robots, who must stop a computer virus from infecting mechanized creatures worldwide. Through twelve challenging stages, Beck uses weapons stolen from enemies to defeat his fellow Mighty Numbers and confront the ultimate evil. The game offers various modes, including New Game+ for increased difficulty, a Single Player Challenge mode with mini missions, Boss Rush Mode for competitive timing, 2-player Online Race Battle, and 2-player Online Co-Op Challenge Mode. Players can also track their progress on leaderboards and earn S-Ranks by mastering combos and perfecting runs. The game's soundtrack features both original compositions and optional chiptune versions of the music.
