Embark on the journey as Jerrod Wilson, traveling from New York to California via one of three historical routes: across the Great Plains and mountains, through the Isthmus of Panama, or around Cape Horn. Each route offers unique challenges and encounters with historical landmarks. Upon reaching Sutter's Fort, the adventure continues with numerous puzzles to solve before achieving your goals in California. This classic game features a distinctive art style reminiscent of the mid-19th century and utilizes a parser interface. Bonus items include a historical map of the routes, the original user guide, and unpublished concept drawings from the 1980s. Gold Rush! Classic is compatible with Windows XP and later operating systems using DOSBox.
