In Age of Water, a post-apocalyptic world submerged in water, players become sea captains navigating a vast open world. They sail through storms, engage in combat and trade, capture other vessels or construct their own, and extract resources from the ocean floor. Players explore settlements, complete tasks, uncover valuable resources, and eventually build their own bases. The game features hundreds of unique ships customizable with various hulls, parts, equipment, armor, and weapons. Players can engage in fierce naval battles against pirates and other players, capturing enemy vessels or defending allied settlements. A personal naval base provides protection and allows for the production of essential items. Age of Water offers a balance between player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) gameplay, allowing players to choose their path as peaceful travelers or ruthless pirates.
