Rogue Legacy is a genealogical rogue-"LITE" where anyone can be a hero. Each time you die, your child will succeed you. Every child is unique. One child might be colorblind, another might be a dward with have vertigo. But that's OK, because no one is perfect, and you don't have to be to succeed.

Rogue Legacy is a challenging rogue-lite adventure where players control a hero who inherits their traits to their offspring upon death. Each child possesses unique characteristics, such as colorblindness or vertigo, adding variety to the gameplay. Players explore procedurally generated castles, battling over 60 enemies across nine different classes, each with unique abilities. Gold earned in each playthrough can be used to upgrade the manor, providing advantages for future generations. The game features a massive skill tree, allowing players to customize their heroes with powerful weaponry, armor, and special abilities like flight and dashing. Rogue Legacy also includes secrets, easter eggs, and controller support.
