Agarest: Generations of War is a strategy role-playing game where players experience an epic story spanning five generations. Players choose the path of Light or Darkness and engage in turn-based combat against hundreds of creatures, utilizing character abilities, Extra Skills, Special Arts, and Over Kills. The Soul Breed system allows players to shape the fate of future heroes by marrying one of three female party members at the end of each generation, influencing the abilities of the next protagonist. The game features unique mechanics like Extended Area for chaining attacks and the Blacksmith's Guild for enhancing and combining equipment. Agarest: Generations of War includes free downloadable content such as add-on dungeons, item packs, and character customization options.
