Guacamelee! Gold Edition is a Metroidvania-style action platformer set in a magical Mexican-inspired world. Players take on the role of a luchador who uses his fists to battle evil and uncover hidden wrestling techniques. The game features dimension-switching mechanics, allowing players to explore both the World of the Living and the World of the Dead. Guacamelee! Gold Edition includes the "El Infierno" level expansion, offering new challenges and costumes. Players can customize their hero with different costumes that change attributes and unlock achievements. The game also supports local cooperative multiplayer for two players and features Steam Achievements, Leaderboards, Cloud Save, Big Picture Mode, Trading Cards, and Steam Workshop integration.
