Memory Lost: Chapter One is an action shooter where players take control of a neural network, navigating a world by capturing and inhabiting the bodies of enemies. Each enemy possesses unique skills and abilities, influencing combat strategies. Players must strategically relocate to healthy bodies when injured or out of ammunition, utilizing this mechanic for survival. Capturing enemy consciousness grants access to their memories, which contribute to the neural network's development of its own personality and understanding of the world. These memories are processed at a central hub called the Mind-Map. Player choices regarding morality influence the game's three possible endings.
