Omerta - City of Gangsters is a simulation game set in 1920s Atlantic City. Players take on the role of an immigrant striving to rise through the ranks of organized crime. Starting with small jobs, players recruit a gang, expand their territory by battling rival gangsters, and ultimately establish their own criminal empire, becoming the city's de facto ruler. The game features historically accurate representations of Atlantic City landmarks and districts, strategic gameplay with city overview and planning capabilities, turn-based tactical combat with cover systems and stealth elements, 15 unique characters with distinct personalities, an RPG system for character development and equipment management, and over 15 hours of gameplay per playthrough.
