Deceit 2 is a social deduction horror game set in Milhaven Asylum, 1979. Players are trapped and forced to participate in a ritual orchestrated by a malevolent Game Master. Two players are secretly Infected, following the Game Master's commands while the Innocent strive to escape and identify the Infected. The Infected can weaken reality, transporting everyone to a terrifying parallel dimension where they gain power. Innocent players must deduce who is infected, eliminating suspects through banishing rituals, all while completing tasks and collecting souls to aid their escape. Deceit 2 emphasizes social deception, requiring players to analyze behavior, adapt strategies, and trust (or distrust) their fellow players to survive the deadly ritual.
