Nine Sols is a 2D action-platformer featuring combat inspired by Sekiro. Players take on the role of Yi, a hero who awakens in New Kunlun, a land once inhabited by an ancient alien race. Yi must defeat the nine Sols, powerful rulers who threaten this forsaken realm. Combat involves slashing, deflecting, and using Taoist talismans. The game features challenging boss fights against ancient guardians and creatures. Set in a unique Taopunk world that blends cyberpunk elements with Taoism and eastern mythology, players explore interconnected regions, uncovering secrets and piecing together the story behind Yi's revenge. Nine Sols is developed by Red Candle Games, creators of the acclaimed horror games Detention and Devotion.
