Citizen Sleeper is a narrative RPG set on Erlins Eye, a space station populated by individuals struggling to survive in a capitalist society. Players assume the role of a sleeper, a digitized consciousness inhabiting an artificial body owned by a corporation. To thrive, players must build relationships, earn income, and navigate the complex factions of the station while evading their corporate pursuers. Inspired by tabletop RPGs, the game uses dice, clocks, and drives to create a player-driven experience where choices shape the narrative and the world around them. Players can choose to help various characters, uncover secrets hidden within the station's network, and ultimately determine their own fate in this richly imagined sci-fi world that explores themes of precarity, personhood, and freedom.
