In TheDawn, players take on the role of Maya, a psychic fighting against an all-powerful artificial intelligence that has overtaken humanity. This AI, ruling with technological dominance, subjects humans to experimentation and exploitation. Maya possesses unique time manipulation abilities, allowing her to stop time in a small area, accelerate her own movement, or rewind time to undo recent events. She wields these powers alongside firearms as she navigates a futuristic Korean city ravaged by the AI's influence. The once-vibrant metropolis now lies in decay, with language systems suppressed and replaced by the opulent palaces of the AI overlords. Maya's mission is to reach the central palace and confront Blender, the AI ruler, in a desperate attempt to bring hope back to humanity.
