Astral Ascent is a 2D platformer rogue-lite game set in a modern fantasy world. Players choose from four unique heroes: Ayla the assassin, Kiran the strongman, Calie the sculptor, or Octave the gun wielder, each with their own weapons and playstyles. The heroes must escape the astral prison known as the Garden by defeating 12 powerful bosses, the Zodiacs, across four diverse worlds. Each run offers a challenging experience that tests skill and reflexes. As players progress, they unlock spells, upgrade their characters, and uncover the story behind the Garden and its inhabitants. Astral Ascent features local co-op gameplay for two players and boasts stunning hand-crafted visuals and frame-by-frame animation.
