Prototype 2 plunges players into the ravaged world of New York Zero, a post-apocalyptic city overrun by a deadly virus. Taking on the role of Sgt. James Heller, a soldier seeking revenge against Alex Mercer, the creator of the virus that killed his family, players will unleash devastating shape-shifting powers. Heller can consume enemies to gain their abilities and transform into monstrous creatures. Prototype 2 offers an open world for exploration, featuring three distinct zones: the militarized Green Zone, the overcrowded Yellow Zone refugee camps, and the nightmarish Red Zone, where the virus has consumed everything.
