Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is an adventure-RPG where players control three heroes, Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, on a quest to find The Everlasting Sapling, a treasure that grants immortality. The game combines colorful platforming with unique abilities as players explore various environments in Bugaria, including the Ant Kingdom, Snakemouth Den, Golden Hills, Lost Sands, and the Bee Kingdom. Turn-based battles feature Action Commands that enhance attacks or block enemy assaults. Players can use Vi's Beemerang, Leif's Ice Magic, or Kabbu's Horn to strategize during combat. The game features over seven chapters of story, 30 side quests, 15 optional bosses, and a cooking system that allows players to create helpful items. Bug Fables also includes a Tattle System that reveals interactions between the heroes as they uncover Bugaria's secrets.
